We are deeply appalled by and condemn the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. We express our condolences with all the victims of the violence as well as their families.

During this time, we emphatically stand with our colleagues at the universities and research institutions in the affected areas. TU Berlin enjoys many longstanding and deep scientific cooperative agreements with Israel.

We are currently in contact with our partner universities as well as the relevant authorities. We ask all TU members currently in Israel or the Palestinian territories to take the following measures:

• • Register on the ELEFAND crisis precaution list of the German Foreign Office, or the embassy of your own home country.
  • Follow the instructions of your host universities, which, to our knowledge, have already taken security precautions.
